We helped the German Apotheker- und Ärztebank (apoBank) and its subsidiaries apodata, apofinanz and apodirect to move their websites to the new Magnolia platform.

Due to a large-scale IT migration, the current content management system should be replaced from 2020. The goal was to make the switch to the Magnolia CMS. We took over both the conception and the implementation of the website as an experienced Magnolia partner. The website relaunch with an intuitive and barrier-free concept took place in January 2020. The new Magnolia CMS facilitates content maintenance and motivates the further expansion of the website. Thanks to the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, communication activities can be bundled in the future and a forward-looking CRM tool can be built.

The important steps

  • Conception of a simple and clear information architecture with intuitive user guidance
  • Development of a responsive, modular design that takes into account Web Accessibility Guidelines (WCGA)
  • Focus the customer journey on driving leads and conversion and integrating the Salesforce Marketing Cloud

The project was launched in April 2019. We were able to take over the contents after evaluation and revision with regard to target group and needs-based user approach by the apoBank editors. In order to address the users even more, we developed interfaces to our own Youtube channel and a planned News Content Hub. This enables a meaningful networking of apoBank ’ s services with relevant content. Finally, we created content and SEO guidelines for a long-term optimization of the visibility of content in search engines.
